This is a rare, 1st edition copy of Booker T. Washington’s Putting the Most Into Life.

This is an original 1st edition published in 1906.
Booker T. Washington was born into slavery in 1856 in Virginia. As a young man, after being freed, he attended seminary and was a founder of the Tuskegee Institute. He wrote Up From Slavery in 1901 and was the first black man to meet a US President (Theodore Roosevelt) on equal terms as a guest at the White House.
This book is in good condition, with some markings on the front cover, webbing showing inside the cover and some taped pages toward the back. These are pictured in the photos.
