Do you ever feel nostalgic for simpler, sweeter times? Do you love how a book from your childhood can bring those feelings back? Books like Mary Poppins, Winnie-the-Pooh, or Peter Rabbit? Join us for a Children’s Classic Literature themed tea party at the bookshop on Saturday, June 13th, at 5 pm. A Time for Tea is putting on a classic British tea for us, complete with scones, tea sandwiches, and desserts.
You will also receive a deluxe, hardcover edition of a classic children’s book.
Space is limited to 12, so don’t wait to reserve your seat! While this is not specifically a children’s event, children age 8 and older are welcome. A reservation is needed for each attendee.
The tea is held at Shop Around the Corner Books at its new location at 1244 California St. in downtown Redding, California.
